Dear Patients and Friends, 

 Happy Spring! It sure takes the edge off, doesn't it.

 

It's been awhile since I last communicated. Many patients are coming in having had one or both vaccines. I have had one myself so far. This, with the regular Covid protocols in place, should reduce many people's fears of going to the doctor or getting acupuncture. 

 

I am still doing remote sessions for herbal consults or acu-magnet placement and general Asian medicine health consults if you are not comfortable coming into the office. 

 

It's allergy / sinus season again. If you're feeling the tree pollen come get some needles and or try one of the fomulas I've been prescribing a lot in the last year or so. 

 

 

Both of these are based on the formula Cang Er Zi San (Xanthium Powder) first published in 1253 AD. IT contains xanthium, magnolia flowers, angelica root, and a small amount of the herb everyone knows, mint.

 

The one on the left is better for people with more of an inflammatory issues in general. The one of the left is a little better for someone with digestive dampness. This dampness idea is of course a TCM term I have explained to some of you.

 

These are both symptomatic oriented formulas. For someone with more chronic issues I'm likely to combine it with a formula to support your constitution whether it be weaker, or hotter, or homonally challenged, etc.   I can of course make a custom formula as well to fine tune the issues.

 

Here's to a quick resolution to the pandemic. I hope we will all be living with more ease in the coming months.
